This Prestige Parts Gaiter, Main Body, Rear Shock Absorber (Part Number PD57492PDGT.01-X) fits Rolls-Royce and Bentley models from 1998 to 2010.
This is the Gaiter for the rear shock absorber, which commonly splits through age and exposure to the elements. It was never available separately from Bentley Motors, but has been introduced to the Prestige Parts range due to popular demand this gaiter features a complex design: At the top of the convoluted section are six evenly spaced perforations, which allow air to escape from the gaiter as it is compressed by the travel of the shock absorber. A separate "umbrella" is added which folds over the top of the convoluted section to prevent ingress of water and dirt. The gaiter is manufactured from a compound designed to resist breakdown due to exposure to the elements and the repetitive action of the shock absorber. Supplied with upper and lower clips.
