Fitting Instructions - UD17929

The original microswitch (which has been discontinued) was equipped with two terminals. One terminal was threaded to take an eyelet connector, the other a Lucar spade connector. The new Prestige Parts replacement has three terminals, all terminals being the threaded type. To fit the Prestige Parts replacement switch, remove the female Lucar connector on the male spade connector and replace with the eyelet connector (supplied). This should be reconnected to the centre terminal marked (4) in the diagram below. The second wire should be reconnected as before to the terminal marked (1) below. The terminal marked (2) is redundant and should be left disconnected.
