This Prestige Parts Boot / Trunk Lid Gas Strut (Part Number 3W8827550J-X) fits Bentley models from 2004 to 2017.
3W8827550J is fitted on Continental GT models from 2013 on, but may also be fitted to earlier cars where problems are experienced with the self-close function of the boot/trunk lid, replacing the original component 3W8827550C. 3W8827550J is slightly shorter than 3W8827550C, making it easier for the Boot Lid Motor to overcome initial resistance.
